Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Public Works Technician to join our grounds maintenance team. You will perform manual labor and operate departmental equipment, including mowing right of way and maintaining municipal property.

This position may require work on Fort Benning; a visitor pass may be needed. A valid driver's license and basic landscape experience are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Six months of landscape experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoes, jackhammers, chain saws, lawn mowers and other machines in accordance with safety regulations.
• Mow and trim assigned property, remove brush and debris, and clean alleys and rights-of-way.
• Plant and fertilize trees, shrubs and flowers as directed; spray weeds in beds and lawns.
• Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, sweep, mop, trash removal, and debris hauling.
• Repair sidewalks and roadways, resurface and repair curbs and sidewalks, and maintain road surfaces.
