Job summary

Inframark O&M Opelika AL is seeking Public Works Technicians to maintain parks, roads, and public spaces. This outdoor role involves operating tractors and mowing equipment, performing grounds maintenance, and contributing to community facilities' upkeep.

You'll work in various weather conditions and support events, with safety and quality at the forefront. A valid driver's license and a HS diploma are preferred, with a commitment to reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, parks and recreation, or a related field.
• Experience operating tractors or mowing equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, parks, and public spaces to improve the community.
• Operate tractors, mowing equipment, weed eaters, and other tools safely.
• Repair sidewalks and assist with roadway maintenance as needed.
• Assist with community events by setting up equipment and cleanup.
• Support storm cleanup and emergency response efforts.
