Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Public Works Technician to perform grounds maintenance and operate departmental equipment. The role includes mowing, trimming, tree and shrub care, and routine cleaning of assigned areas.

You will follow OSHA and ESG safety guidelines while handling multiple pieces of equipment. Responsibilities include road/sidewalk repairs, debris removal, and assisting with municipal property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Prefer six months of landscape experience or related field.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet minimum driving standards.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to read simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoes, jackhammers, chain saws, lawn mowers, chippers, leaf machines, weed eaters, concrete saws, paint strippers, or tractors with bush hogs in compliance with OSHA and ESG safety regulations.
• Mow and trim assigned property; remove brush, tree limbs, and leaves using appropriate machinery.
• Plant and fertilize trees, shrubs and flowers; spray for weeds in beds and lawns.
• Perform cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and debris hauling.
• Repair sidewalks and concrete areas; maintain roadways and curbs; finish concrete.
