Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock is hiring Street Maintenance Technicians I–III for on-site public works tasks in Castle Rock, CO. You will perform a range of maintenance, repair, and construction work, including snow removal and equipment operation, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CDL Class B (Class A preferred), and CDOT Flagger Certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDOT Flagger Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• CDL license with Class B; Class A preferred.
• Must obtain Class B CDL within six months of employment.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and construction tasks across streets and public works sites.
• Repair and maintain signage, pavement markings, drainage facilities and fences.
• Operate heavy equipment for snow plowing, sweeping, and other tasks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain equipment.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours service requests.
• Assist with daily cleaning and upkeep of public works facilities.
