Job summary

• Requires bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering design experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Performs project planning with scope, budget, schedule and risk assessment.
• Reviews plans, prepares bid documents, and coordinates design phase submittals.
• Facilitates pre-construction and progress meetings; conducts site visits.
• Acts as liaison to citizens with concerns during design and construction.
• Reviews construction plans on site and provides solutions.
• Presents CIP project updates to stakeholders.
• Conducts field visits and resolves site conflicts.
• Prepares regular project updates for city leadership and public.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

4 years college equivalent in civil technology or related field
