Job summary

The position requires a civil engineering degree, 5+ years in civil engineering, and a Washington State driver's license. Responsibilities include design, project management, and field inspections for capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Five years progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Washington State driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate review and processing of construction plans and permits for right of way, clearing, grading, and utility projects.
• Coordinate development engineering reviews and comments on permit applications.
• Respond to public inquiries with engineering documentation and correspondence.
• Maintain records for LID, ULID, and Developer Reimbursement Agreements and calculate related fees.
• Supervise engineering staff and assist in design reviews, inspections, and preparation of plans and estimates.
• Provide as-built records and field inspections support for permits and construction projects.
• Assist in engineering design, project management, and construction management services for city capital projects.
