Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, civil engineering, construction management, public works administration, business administration, or closely related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in public works or municipal operations.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Municipal experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• FEMA Incident Command certification preferred; APWA certification desirable.
• Ability to obtain certifications required by the Town or applicable law.

Education

Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field

Combination of education and municipal public works experience

Minimum 5 years in public works/municipal operations

Supervisory experience

Municipal experience

Valid driver's license

CDL preferred

FEMA Incident Command certification preferred

APWA Public Works certification desirable

Certifications required by Town or law
