Job summary

Manasquan Borough is seeking an experienced Superintendent of Public Works to lead planning, direction, and supervision of the town’s public works operations and staff. You will oversee facilities, equipment, and safety while coordinating capital projects with engineers and contractors.

The role requires five years of supervisory public works experience, a NJ driver’s license, and a track record in budgeting and procurement.

Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory experience in construction, building and grounds maintenance, street repair, or similar public works.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
• CDL, CPWM certification or emergency management credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the Borough’s public works operations and personnel.
• Coordinate capital improvement projects, budgeting, and purchasing.
• Liaise with the Borough Engineer, contractors, and utilities on capital projects and safety.
