Job summary

The City of LeRoy is hiring for a full-time position with benefits. Performs work under the supervision of the Public Works Director to support operation, maintenance, and repair of streets, storm water systems, lift stations, water and sewer lines, city well, city buildings, parks, and equipment.

Must have hands-on mechanical skills and be able to work independently. The ability to obtain licensure in water (Class C) and wastewater (Class D) is required within a reasonable amount of time.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Required: ability to respond to emergencies within 15 minutes.
