Job summary

The City of Buffalo Lake is seeking a Public Works/Maintenance Worker to support water and wastewater systems, street maintenance, city equipment, buildings, and parks. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and appropriate licenses.

Licensing requirements include Class C Water, Class D Wastewater, and Minnesota Class B within 12 months; heavy and light equipment experience is preferred. Starting wage depends on experience with full benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have or be able to obtain Class C Water License and Class D Wastewater License.
• Maintain or have ability to obtain all required regulatory licenses within 12 months.
• Valid Minnesota Class B drivers license within 12 months.
• Experience in heavy and light equipment operation and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis.
• Must be able to utilize time properly and productively.
• Must be able to maintain records in an accurate and accessible manner.
