The Village of Hebron is seeking a Chief of Police to lead law enforcement operations in a community-focused environment. The Village of Hebron is currently accepting applications for the position of Chief of Police.The Village of Hebron is located 30 miles east of Columbus in a peaceful community of approximately 2,700 residents, also home to an industrial park and commercial districts. The jurisdiction is approximately 3 square miles with just under 30 street miles including US Route 40 and State Route 79.
The police department is well equipped and well staffed with more officers per resident than any other jurisdiction in the county. The department emphasizes community policing, strong public engagement, and regional collaboration to uphold peace and good order throughout the Village.
The Chief of Police serves on our executive leadership team tasked with deploying interdisciplinary solutions for the residents, businesses, and visitors, the Chief of Police oversees all law enforcement operations, personnel, and administrative functions.
This includes managing departmental policies, budgets, training, and coordination with regional agencies and prosecutors.

Public Works Department Seasonal General Laborer
(part time position)
The Village of Hebron is seeking to fill a seasonal part-time General Laborer position for the Public Works Department. This is a temporary 24 hr/week position ending September 30th. Hourly pay: $17.21/hr

Duties:
1.Perform mowing activities using hand tools, zero turn mowers, tractors, and trimming equipment.
2.Operate village vehicles as directed to deliver or pick up materials and supplies, maintain cleanliness or streets and parks, clear drains and waterways and maintain sidewalks.
3.Other duties assigned by superintendent.
4.Valid Ohio Driver’s License required. Previous property and equipment experience and/or training preferred. Driving record must qualify for coverage with the village insurance carriers underwriting requirements.
5.Hours of work 7:00 am – 3:00 pm 3 days a week
A high school diploma and valid Ohio Driver’s license are required.
