Job summary

The Town of Minturn is hiring a Public Works Equipment Operator I or II in the Public Works Department. You will operate snowplows, loaders, graders, trucks and other heavy equipment to maintain streets, utilities, parks and Town infrastructure. A Class B CDL is required or obtainable within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Colorado CDL or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Experience operating snowplows, loaders, graders, or other heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplows and light/heavy equipment for street, utility, park, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on equipment.
• Direct traffic at job sites and ensure safety around work areas.
