Job summary

The Town of Frederick is seeking Equipment Operator I/II/III to support Public Works by maintaining streets, stormwater systems, and utilities. You will operate various vehicles and perform maintenance, repair, and snow/ice control as part of a team dedicated to reliable community service.

Required are a High School diploma, Colorado Class B CDL with air brake/tanker endorsements, and relevant certifications. Training provided; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Colorado Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in Public Works, construction, streets, stormwater, utilities, equipment operation, or a related field.
• Flagger certification and forklift certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment in street, stormwater, and utility maintenance tasks.
• Assist with snow and ice control, traffic control, and emergency response.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance logs, and safety checks.
• Support field operations and coordinate with team members on daily tasks.
