Job summary

City of Nampa is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering, Public Works, to lead planning, design, and construction of major public works projects. You will supervise contracts, budgets, and schedules, while coordinating with utilities, consultants, and city staff to deliver high-quality infrastructure.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the Engineering Manager – Transportation and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in construction contracts and project management in the public sector preferred.
• Proficiency with project controls, budgeting, and scheduling tools.
• Valid Idaho driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, budgets, and schedules for public works construction projects.
• Manage contracts with designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain electronic project files and financial information.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations across projects.
• Coordinate with staff, agencies, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare reports, updates, and documentation for project staff.
