Job summary

The City of Nampa is seeking a Project Manager for Water Renewal to lead planning, design, and construction of major water-related projects. You will supervise contracts with design professionals, consultants, and contractors, while maintaining project files, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in construction contracts and project management; water/wastewater preferred.
• Valid Idaho Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope of work, budgets, and schedules for construction of public works projects.
• Manage contracts with design professionals, consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Maintain electronic project files and review expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with staff, contractors, and agencies to solve construction issues and adjust scope as needed.
• Prepare project reports and review progress against plans.
