Job summary

The Inspector will transcribe field data, prepare reports, and advise engineers on necessary design adjustments to meet specifications. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in construction projects or equivalent experience.
• APWA Public Infrastructure Inspector or equivalent preferred.
• Valid State of Idaho Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect public works projects for compliance with City specs and plans.
• Transcribe field data and write on-site activity reports.
• Provide information to engineers to develop contracted projects.
• Perform utilities testing and related quality verifications.
• Conduct final inspections and recommend changes as needed.
