Job summary

Civil Science is seeking an experienced Public Works Division Manager to lead our ND public works practice. You will oversee Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, and staff, reporting to the Area Manager, and driving technical excellence, client relations, and growth.

You will direct strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tracking for the division, while mentoring staff and representing Civil Science in municipalities and industry forums across North Dakota.

Qualifications

• ND PE license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 12+ years of experience in public works and civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to develop revenue-generating client relationships in ND public works.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the public works division.
• Lead division planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Drive division quality, risk management, and safety compliance.
• Mentor staff and manage performance programs.
• Develop relationships with municipal, regional, and state organizations.
