Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, business administration or related field.
• Minimum eight years of multi‑disciplinary management experience.
• Minimum three years of high‑level budgetary/financial management experience.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for all divisions within Public Works.
• Develop and administer work programs, policies and procedures to improve program effectiveness.
• Develop and manage annual budgets; conduct cost and productivity analyses.
• Negotiate or participate in contracts related to Transportation projects.
• Communicate with the Board, agencies, consultants and contractors; present as needed.
• Direct staff, manage performance, and foster peak productivity.
• Perform related duties including emergency response activities.
