Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead roadway, utility, and transportation infrastructure projects along the Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch corridor. This direct-hire role offers real authority and strong organizational support within a fast-growing market.

You will own full lifecycle delivery from planning through closeout, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with FDOT and municipalities.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years managing large infrastructure, roadway, or transportation projects.
• Working command of FDOT standards, specifications, and permitting.
• Strong grounding in MOT, drainage, earthwork, paving, and bridge coordination.
• Experience with GMP, design build, or CMAR delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle project delivery from planning and preconstruction through construction and closeout
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans
• Coordinate utility relocation across water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric, and telecom
• Direct consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and inspection teams
• Administer change orders, pay applications, claims, and contract documentation
• Manage relationships with FDOT, municipalities, counties, and utility owners
