Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for public works in Oakland, CA. The role oversees projects from award through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and client communications for municipal infrastructure work on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Strong public works and public agency project experience.
• Experience with prevailing wage, public bidding, utility coordination, permits, inspections, and government contracts.
• Proficiency with Procore and Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of grading, paving, concrete, site development, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and public agencies.
• Support field operations alongside Superintendents and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and public works requirements.
