Jobot in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (Core and Shell) to lead large commercial projects. You will plan, coordinate and manage from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have 5-10+ years in commercial construction, a Bachelor's in CM or Civil Eng, and proven ability to manage $50M-$100M+ ventures. Procore experience is a plus, and you will mentor teams while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction Industry.
• Experience managing Large Projects ($50M-$100M or higher) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, OR related working experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proven experience in cost control and contract negotiation.
• In-depth understanding of construction risk management.
• Strong commitment to construction safety practices.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and budget.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications to determine the appropriate construction methods.
• Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manage project budget and schedule including tracking and controlling construction costs to avoid cost overruns.
• Conduct contract negotiations with clients, architects, and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms.
• Identify and analyze risks associated with the project, develop risk mitigation strategies and manage the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with construction safety rules and regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Lead and manage the project team, fostering a collaborative environment and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
