Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a large Bay Area public works portfolio in Oakland. This role leads projects from award through closeout, coordinating schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and regulatory compliance for public sector clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction PM, strong knowledge of public works, prevailing wage rules, and proficiency with Procore and Primavera P6. Join a stable, growth‑oriented firm delivering civic infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Construction PM experience in public works.
• Strong public works and public agency project experience.
• Prevailing wage, public bidding, utility coordination, permits, inspections, and government contracts.
• Procore and Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Knowledge of grading, paving, concrete, site development, scheduling, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, consultants, and public agencies.
• Support field operations with Superintendents and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and public works requirements.
