Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs is seeking a Public Works Technician III/IV-Concrete to perform concrete and masonry work for the Public Works department in Holly Springs, NC. The role involves operating equipment, setting up safety controls, and finishing concrete surfaces, with responsibilities including ADA ramps, sidewalks, curbs, and find/repair duties.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL (Class A or B).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of concrete installation or similar construction trades experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain a current valid Class A or B CDL Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates construction equipment and tools.
• Set up and remove site safety controls.
• Install and finish concrete, sidewalks, ramps and curbs.
• Prepare forms, grade bases, and ADA ramps.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with residents and staff.
