Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I/II/III to support the Public Works department in maintaining Town buildings and facilities. These positions are essential infrastructure personnel who report for duty during emergencies and severe weather.

The starting annual salary range is $44,304.88-$52,758.23 (Grade C/D/F). Maintenance Technicians operate across maintenance tasks, from routine cleaning and minor repairs to more advanced building systems support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent and minimum one year of related work experience.
• High school diploma/equivalent and minimum two years of related work experience.
• Associates degree or Technical degree in facilities maintenance, mechanical operations, construction trades or closely related field and minimum two years of related skilled work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Town buildings and facilities and performs routine maintenance tasks.
• Assists with preventive maintenance and minor repairs across building systems.
• Operates grounds vehicles and equipment for maintenance tasks as required.
• Coordinates with Facilities Supervisor and other staff to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Education

Associates or Technical degree in facilities maintenance or related field
