Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs seeks a Facilities Supervisor in the Public Works department to oversee the Facilities division’s operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. The role directs staff, plans maintenance, and ensures safety and compliance with Town policies.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will coordinate vendor work, manage budgets, and maintain asset records while providing leadership for a team of facilities technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field such as engineering, construction management, public administration, architecture, facility trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and/or a combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years’ related work experience in facilities maintenance, property management, public works, local government, utilities, or related construction/mechanical area.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Directs the work of and manages assigned staff/technicians.
• Coordinates staff training plans and provides for ongoing training needs.
• Assigns tasks, reviews work, and provides performance evaluation feedback; manages time sheets and costs.
• Plans and directs all staff assignments including service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and coordinates with vendors for scope of work.
