Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Public Works Civil Engineer to support road and site improvement projects for cities and public agencies. You will assist in preliminary engineering, final design, and construction documents, contributing to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.

The role requires a strong technical background in public works, with experience in coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams across western U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in public works projects.
• Experience with preliminary engineering, final design and construction drawings.
• Ability to prepare technical studies and construction documents."
• Ability to manage scopes, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings, quantity calculations and cost estimates.
• Support road/highway improvements and site development projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver on time and within budget.
• Perform field work/construction observation under supervision.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and assist contract administration.
