Myers and Sons Construction is a heavy civil contractor focused on bridge and roadway projects across Colorado and California. The Certified Payroll & Labor Compliance Specialist will manage certified payroll reporting, ensure labor compliance across public works, and coordinate with unions and internal teams to maintain accuracy and deadlines.

The role also provides backup payroll processing support and requires strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to handle multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience handling certified payroll reporting for public works projects.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage determinations and wage classifications.
• Ability to interpret labor compliance requirements and apply them to projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation, review, and timely submission of certified payroll reports and documentation for public works.
• Oversee DIR and DAS reporting, ensuring deadlines and accuracy across projects.
• Coordinate with unions, customers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance.
• Provide backup payroll processing coverage when needed and reconcile payroll data with certified payroll submissions.
