Weld County Public Works is seeking a Budget Coordinator to support budget submittals for ten divisions and the department. You will work directly with the Public Works Director, deputies, managers, and supervisors to organize data and keep the budget book up to date.

The role also covers accounts payable, reconciliation, and inventory tasks, requiring proficiency with Accela, Workday, Cartegraph, Excel and Word. A strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Four years' experience of increasingly responsible job-related duties.
• Or Any equivalent combination of education and experience that will provide the necessary skills.

Aufgaben

• Budgetary - budget submittal for ten division budgets including the overall departmental budget; organize data and update budget spreadsheets for submission to Finance.
• Accounts Payable - enter requisitions for bids and contract renewals/extensions; process payments and journal entries.
• General - coordinate annual inventory, research discrepancies, enter contract and material information into cost accounting system, assist with annual material bids and LTAP training.
• Reconciliation/Deposit - reconcile credit card statements, deposit funds weekly, maintain transaction files and update fuel and fee income reports.
• Accounts Receivable - prepare AR invoices for culverts and annual maintenance per agreements; track receivables.
• Other Duties as Assigned - order supplies, assist with main department phone line and walk-in traffic.
