Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and understand cursive writing.
  • Graduation from High school or GED certificate or graduation from a formal business school.
  • 2 years general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrity of vital records (birth, death, marriage, DD214s, assumed name documents).
  • Evaluate and calculate fees based on applicable legislation; collect and receipt funds.
  • Process marriage licenses and file applications for submission to the state.
  • Handle filing, scanning, and copying of records and related documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of documents and data.
  • Assist the public at the counter and on the phone; provide guidance as needed.
