Job summary

The Town of Mooresville is seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to lead utility project implementation and cross-functional initiatives. You will coordinate engineering, utility operations, contractors, developers, and agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance.

You will manage CIP programs, utility relocations, schedules, documentation, and performance metrics, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and town departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field with 5+ years municipal water/wastewater experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years municipal utility experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CIP projects and utility relocations with stakeholders.
• Manage in-house utility construction and maintenance projects.
• Develop schedules, tracking, and status reports.
• Coordinate regulatory initiatives and asset inventories.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Serve as liaison among staff, contractors, regulators, and customers.
