Zusammenfassung

Omnitrans in the San Bernardino Valley seeks a Vehicle Service Worker to service automobiles and motor coaches, sanitize vehicles and manage fare vaults. Training is provided and candidates must obtain a Class B permit with air brake endorsement within 90 days of hire.

Typical duties include fueling vehicles, cleaning rolling stock, and moving stock between facilities. Flexibility for day, swing, and graveyard shifts is required.

Qualifikationen

• One year experience in vehicle service, cleaning, and/or maintenance is desirable.
• Must have a State of California Commercial Vehicle Instruction Permit Class B with passenger and air brakes endorsement or possess a California CDL with B-P endorsement.

Aufgaben

• Service automobiles and motor coaches; remove and empty fare box vaults.
• Sanitize vehicles; perform cleaning and routine maintenance as required.
• Check fuel, oil, water and other fluids; report defects to shift supervisor.
• Move rolling stock between divisions and to vendors as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
