Job summary

Via is hiring a Utility Worker for our Tulare location to keep buses, facilities, and grounds safe and operational. This hands-on role includes cleaning and detailing vehicles, as well as general custodial and minor repair work. On-the-job training is provided and no transit experience is required.

You will support the operations team with various tasks, wear multiple hats, and work flexible hours as needed. You must be 21+, pass mandatory checks, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background checks; no felonies and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep, sanitize, and detail buses and support vehicles.
• Perform general building and grounds upkeep, custodial tasks, and minor repairs.
• Support the operations team with miscellaneous tasks and special projects.
