Job summary

Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking a Program Analyst 3 – Federal Fund Program Manager in Salem to oversee and manage federal transit funding programs supporting rural transit and access for the elderly and disabled. You will coordinate grant opportunities, monitor compliance, and provide expert guidance to transit agencies.

You will develop program guidance, oversee solicitations and budgets, and report outcomes to leadership.

Qualifications

• Interpret federal statutes and translate requirements into program policies and guidance.
• Experience managing grant solicitations and awards; knowledge of federal grants is a plus.
• Experience evaluating and implementing policies and processes to improve grant management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate federal public transportation grant programs (5310/5311).
• Oversee funding solicitations, budgets, project awards and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements across funded projects.
• Provide technical assistance, training and guidance to transit providers.
• Prepare and present program information to leadership and advisory bodies.
