Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in maintaining clean, organized guest and public areas. You will handle deliveries, assist with room setups, and respond to service requests, contributing to a luxury guest experience with discretion and professionalism.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Lifts up to 50 lbs and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TABC certificate and Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, restrooms, fitness centers, and lounges.
• Clean staff areas and service corridors as needed.
• Deliver linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies to guest floors and housekeeping carts.
• Assist room attendants with linen removal and trash disposal.
• Set up guest room items and assist with meeting room setups.
