Position: Hotel Public Space Attendant/Houseperson

Basic Function: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms, and internal offices.

Essential Functions:

1. Ensure cleanliness of lobby, dusting, vacuuming, and furniture arrangement.
2. Polish brass displays and stairway handrails.
3. Monitor and replenish telephone message pads and pens.
4. Maintain cleanliness of Concierge carpeting.
5. Keep newspaper stand tidy.
6. Dust pictures and furniture.
7. Clean and restock public and poolside restrooms throughout the day.
8. Check and restock employee restrooms twice daily.
9. Remove trash and vacuum carpets in offices.
10. Maintain neatness of work cart.
11. Report maintenance and cleaning needs.
12. Return lost items to Housekeeping Office.
13. Practice safety standards and clean spills immediately.

Marginal Functions:

1. Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.
2. Remain courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues.
