Overview
Responsible for opening and closing indoor and outdoor pool areas. Maintains the exercise room and pools to ensure cleanliness and order. Observes and guards the pool areas to ensure guests follow all rules and regulations.

Essential Functions

• Monitor activities in the pool area, ensure guests are following rules, and confirm all are hotel guests.
• Log pool readings per health regulations, adjust pH and chlorine levels as needed.
• Perform daily pool maintenance, including vacuuming, cleaning strainers, back washing, sweeping, and hosing down.
• Clean and wipe down pool furniture daily.
• Bring in clean towels at the start of the shift and collect used towels for laundry at the end.
• Ensure all safety equipment is available and in good condition.
• Clean all glass surfaces in the pool area and maintain the exercise and pump rooms.
• Lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Follow emergency and life safety procedures and key control protocols.
• Provide high-quality guest service at all times.
• Wear proper uniform and nametag according to appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
