Hotel Public Space Attendant/Houseperson - Day Shift

Job Overview: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms, and internal offices.

Essential Duties:

• Clean and dust lobby areas, furniture, and fixtures.
• Polish brass signs and stairway handrails.
• Monitor and restock telephone message pads and pens.
• Maintain cleanliness of concierge carpeting and newspaper stand.
• Clean and restock public and employee restrooms, including poolside facilities.
• Remove trash and vacuum carpets in offices.
• Report maintenance and cleaning needs.
• Return lost articles to Housekeeping Office.
• Practice safety standards and clean spills immediately.

Qualifications:

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Neat appearance and friendly personality.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
