Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Transportation Specialist to lead municipal and state-funded infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and integrity, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence several days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as an EIT/project manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal/state civil infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Act as primary contact for municipal, county, and state agency clients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including engineers and subconsultants.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost forecasts, and change management.
