Job summary

EY US Government and Public Sector Transformation Execution team in McLean is seeking staff-level consultants to help federal, state and local agencies manage programs and projects. You will work on PM operations, including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management.

You will apply PM knowledge to meaningful projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and access PM training and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of consulting or relevant industry experience.
• At least one year of experience leading teams on engagements.
• Knowledge in process improvement, stakeholder engagement, performance measurement and metrics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage shifting priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites (up to 30–80% depending on practice).
• Experience with one or more PM software packages such as MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead collaborative client engagements in a dynamic project environment.
• Collect and analyze data to develop innovative recommendations for process and technology improvements.
• Deliver high-quality client services and establish enduring relationships with stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends relevant to government and public sector clients.
• Mentor staff and contribute to competency development and PM training.
