Job summary

JFrog is seeking a Solution Engineer, Public Sector to be on the front lines as a trusted technical advisor for federal, state, and local government clients. You will work with sales, product, engineering, and marketing to demonstrate value from a technical and business perspective.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, strong security and cloud skills, and the ability to travel up to 25% across the U.S. U.S. Citizenship is required; DoD frameworks familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD tools, Artifactory and modern SDLC practices.
• 3+ years in security (SCA, SAST, DAST), container security, SBOMs, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• U.S. Citizenship required; DoD familiarity is a plus; willing to travel 25% across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to align technical solutions with customer goals.
• Deliver demos and POVs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support RFIs/RFPs and federal procurement processes.
• Guide customers through the technical lifecycle and influence product roadmap.
• Evangelize DevSecOps best practices and DoD/federal reference architectures.
• Stay current with industry trends in DevOps, cloud, and public sector digital transformation.
