Job summary

NetApp seeks a Services Account Executive to champion Professional Services in the public sector, selling consulting and managed services. You will work with solution architects, clients, and account teams to drive bookings across your territory.

Responsibilities include building relationships, tailoring proposals, and managing your pipeline to close contracts. A strong background in government services sales and executive communication is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quota‑bearing selling experience.
• 7+ years of direct consulting or services sales experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Executive presentation skills – comfortable leading conversations with director up to CIO‑level audiences.
• Understanding of professional services contracting or Statement of Work creation and negotiation.
• Experience selling Professional Services to U.S. Government customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key public sector clients and NetApp account teams.
• Identify customer needs and map them to appropriate Professional Services solutions.
• Deliver compelling proposals and secure contracts for Consulting and Managed Services.
• Manage your own schedule and workflow to proactively organize meetings and sales activities.
