Job summary

City of Raleigh seeks an experienced Risk Analyst to join the Risk Management team. You will support insurance programs, manage claims processes, analyze exposures, and help implement loss-reduction strategies to protect city assets.

In this role, you will compile reports, update dashboards, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliant, data-driven risk decisions that support resilient city services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in risk management or a related field, or equivalent.
• Preferred: ARM, AIC, CPCU certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support City insurance and risk programs, including claims and renewals.
• Analyze data, compile reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Update dashboards and risk reports; collaborate across departments.
• Review contracts and event applications for insurance requirements.
• Assist in managing risk software for incidents, claims, and exposures.
