Job summary

The City of Bellevue is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join the Human Resources team. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, partnering with departments to design strategies, assess staffing needs, and ensure equitable, engaging experiences for candidates and hiring managers.

You will coordinate with the Compensation and HR teams on offers, onboarding, and process improvements, while delivering training on inclusive hiring practices. Hybrid work options are available in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Two or more years in full-cycle recruitment; 5+ years in HR/Recruiting preferred.
Experience with online hiring systems/ATS; NEOGOV strongly desired.
Experience in public sector HR preferred.

Responsibilities

Guide and support hiring teams through all phases of the recruitment process.
Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and job qualifications.
Manage NEOGOV applicant tracking and ensure compliant, fair evaluation processes.
Assist with offers, compensation guidance, and onboarding coordination.
Develop inclusive recruitment strategies to diversify candidate pools.
