Job summary

The Florida Gaming Control Commission is seeking a Government Operations Consultant II to manage real property leasing and complex contract workflows in Tallahassee. The role involves coordinating with the Director of Administration, DMS, and external brokers to ensure accurate lease inventories, timely renewals, and compliant contracting processes.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of State of Florida, administrative work in the areas of accounting, auditing, or project management involving multiple divisions/bureaus/units relating to administration; or
• One (1) year of State of Florida, Real Property Leasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Leasing: Responsible for the Commission’s real property leasing inventory and related tasks including tracking renewals, preparing space needs, and coordinating with DMS and brokers.
• Contract Manager: Crafts, evaluates, negotiates, and executes assigned contracts; maintains relationships with vendors and manages contract workflows.
• Other: Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Director of Administration.
