The role includes processing purchase orders, managing contracts, and maintaining asset records while supporting accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in accounting or business and/or three years in related work, with strong vendor relations and analytic skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or business and/or three years in business or government.
• High level knowledge of state and local procurement laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Procure supplies, fixed assets, and professional services in compliance with laws.
• Process and track purchase orders and manage contracts and bids.
• Maintain central asset inventory and assist with vendor payments.
• Coordinate with staff and consultants to ensure value and compliance.
• Support general ledger and expense coding for accounts payable.
