Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to potential vendors on requirements for the local vendor file.
• Order items from awarded contracts via ECAT and Prime Vendor sites.
• Review fund control points and ensure procurement obligations are approved before orders.
• Represent VA in discussions with vendors to obtain agreement on micro purchases and compliance.
• Monitor vendor performance and track procurement expenditures and trends.
• Coordinate with service representatives on sources of supply and substitutions.
• Develop procurement alternatives for supervisory review and prepare solicitations.
