You will manage purchase orders, ensure budget alignment, and support auditors during annual reviews. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business with 3+ years in government or organizational purchasing, plus familiarity with accounting software and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business required with 3+ years in government or business purchasing.
• Knowledge of NC purchasing rules and regulations is essential.
• Experience with standard accounting practices and audits is required.

Responsibilities

• Procure supplies, fixed assets, and professional services in compliance with laws.
• Process purchase orders and monitor budget availability with Finance.
• Maintain central procurement records and vendor relations.
• Support staff with purchasing procedures and forms as needed.
• Assist auditors during fiscal reviews and back up Accounts Payable functions.
