Job summary

Iron Mountain Government Solutions seeks a strategic Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end public sector initiatives. You will coordinate with agency clients to protect and transform critical information assets, guiding cross‑functional teams across Operations, IT, and Sales while ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires experience with federal/state/local or higher education clients, plus knowledge of record management or asset lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing technical or operations‑focused programmes, supporting Federal, State, Local, or Higher Education agency clients.
• Strong knowledge of record management systems, asset lifecycle management, or secure document digitisation processes.
• Proven ability in cross‑functional team leadership, budget tracking, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Execution: Drive cross‑functional programme delivery from initiation through completion, establishing timelines, success metrics, and resource allocations while managing programme budgets.
• Partner with Client Stakeholders: Engage directly with agency clients to align programme outcomes with specific public‑sector missions and contractual obligations.
• Enable Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Guide project teams across Operations, IT, and Sales without relying on direct authority, building trust and shared accountability.
• Optimize Workflows & Mitigate Risk: Apply Agile and continuous‑improvement frameworks to streamline programme workflows, proactively identify delivery risks, and enhance service efficiency.
