Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Public Sector Pricing Manager to lead pricing on major UK public sector bids, provide strategic commercial advice, and elevate pricing capabilities across the firm. The role reports to the Pricing Director and invites collaboration with senior stakeholders while exploring AI-enabled pricing tools.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to develop, maintain and quality review robust financial models.
• Excellent numerical and analytical capability with the judgement to interpret complex data and translate findings into recommendations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Confident challenge when needed while protecting pricing guard rails and pricing principles.
• Degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline and previous pricing experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the pricing of public sector bids, including producing, owning and quality-assuring financial models.
• Driving initiatives to improve margin, competitive position and pricing efficiency.
• Improve pricing capability via training Government and Public Sector practitioners and mentoring staff.
• Exploring AI and emerging technologies to improve pricing analysis and guidance with sound judgement.
• Providing strategic commercial advice to bid teams for key decisions on public sector frameworks.
• Analysing bid management data and presenting results to influence bid strategy.
• Coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues and guiding bid processes.
