San Joaquin County Health Care Services Agency is seeking an experienced Departmental Personnel Analyst to partner with department leadership, navigate complex personnel matters, and support workforce decisions that directly impact the delivery of essential public services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, personnel management or a closely related field.
• Two (2) years of professional personnel or personnel-related administrative/analytical work.
• Additional qualifying personnel experience may substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two (2) years.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leadership to navigate complex personnel matters and support workforce decisions impacting essential public services.
• Collaborate with management and communicate complex information clearly, including interpretation of personnel policies and regulations.
• Assist with workplace investigations, employee relations, and other sensitive administrative inquiries.
